Founder, National Secretary of the Ukrainian Association of Biomedical Engineering «Institute of Engineering and Clinical Problems of Medicine». Member of the World Federation of Biomedical Engineering, the European Union of Biomechanics, the World Federation of Biomedical Engineering, the World Union of Physicists and Mathematicians for Medicine. Founder and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the professional journal «Bulletin of Kharkiv National University. Series: Medicine» (since 1995). Member of the specialized scientific council of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University D 64.051.13 (biophysics) (since 2002).

Author of about 300 scientific papers, including co-author of 13 monographs.
