On December 15th, 2016 the festival of league of KVN «Universe» took place at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The game was attended by 11 teams of different universities and schools of Kharkiv, including the team of the School of Medicine "PODNARKOZOM".

The instructors of the Department of General Practice - Family Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Candidate of Medicine, associate professor L. I. Kovalenko and Candidate of Medicine, associate professor O. O. Shevchenko took part in the preparation of scientific-research works and in the organization of the first (district) stage of All-Ukrainian competition of scientific-research works of students-members of the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

December 9, took place the regular meeting of the student scientific society of human anatomy, functioning on the basis of the Department of Human Anatomy. During the meeting, the first-year students were taken in society.

On December 3-4, 2016 the VI National Assembly of Public Organization "Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association » (UMSA) was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. This event was visited by representatives of 15 medical universities of Ukraine.

From 4th to 8th December, 2016 casting of the competition "Beauty of the University " was held in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During the event the contenders of all departments had the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to defile, to present themselves on stage and demonstrate their talents.

December 7, 2016

On December 3-4, 2016 the IV National Assembly of Public Organization "Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association" (UMSA) was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During the event the Standing Committee of Public Health (SCOPH) held a meeting wherein the reports of local representatives were presented, the priority areas of work for the next year have been defined, namely: mental health (mental health), donation, the problem of self-medication. Also according to the taken provisions it is possible for 2 assistants of the National Coordinator to work in the committee.

On 25th November, 2016 the University round of the City Olympiad in German language, which took place in several steps, was held at the School of Foreign Languages of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Students of higher educational institutions of Kharkiv took part in the Olympiad.
