On April 23, 2017 at Unifekht Sport and Fencing Club mini-football competitions for the Dean’s bowl of the School of Medicine, dedicated to the 212th anniversary of the founding and the 24th anniversary of the revival of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took place. During the competitions 15 matches were played, in which 9 student teams of 1-4 courses of the Ukrainian-language form of study and 1-5 courses of the English-language form of study of the School of Medicine took part. The tournament was held on the initiative and with the support of the Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, full professor I. V. Belozerov.
The winner of the competition was the 3-year team of the English-language form of study of the School of Medicine, which was able to win the final of the competition over the team of the 3-year of the Ukrainian-language form of study. The winners of the competitions were awarded by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, full professor I. V. Belozerov with a bowl and thematic cake. The silver and bronze medalists of the tournament were awarded with medals and diplomas. The best players in the national mini-football team of the School of Medicine were selected from the participants of the tournament, which will represent the school at university and interuniversity competitions.
The tournament caused a lot of positive impressions among players and fans, so it was decided to make it traditional at the School of Medicine and organize similar tournaments for the Dean’s Bowl of the School of Medicine in other sports, including the participation of the teams of the scientific and pedagogical staff.
