Bakirov, students and staff of the School of Medicine carried out the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 31.03.2010 № 777-r and the order of the head of the regional state administration dated 11.03.2016 № 75. They took an active part in the All-Ukrainian Day of Improvement headed by the President of the University V. S. Bakirov, which was held on 08.04.2017.

Karazin Kharkiv National University: Jitendra Chowdary (VI-433), Кarthikeyan Shiva Shankar (VI-607), Varadharaghavan Vanothkumar (VI-305) and Venkata Narayanan (VI-105) - took 1st place in badminton competitions, which were held during the 67th Student Spartakiad of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

On March 22, 2017 during the scientific and educational project "Intellect networking", the lecturer of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Candidate of Biology, Associate Professor V. I. Padalko held an open lecture on "Fundamentals of human embryonic development". The open lectures of V. I. Padalko, devoted to the problems of ontogeny and aging of the human body, are always very popular and are attended by hundreds of listeners.

The event was held in the framework of the university program «Students’ Health».

Sports minutes are included in classes as part of the scientific work of students at the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Students of the 4th course who are studying in English are involved in this work. The research is based on a subjective evaluation of working capacity during the training session. Sports minutes are held every 45 minutes for 10 minutes. Students notice that after classes with sports minutes their capacity improves, the assimilation of new material improves and mood rises. Objectively, the results of test control of students' knowledge after physical exercises are higher.
