On November 17th, 2016 the lecturers of the Department of General and Clinical Immunology and Allergology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor T. I. Lyadova, Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor O. V. Volobueva and Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor O. V. Gololobova participated in the roundtable "Immunology of viral diseases". The event was dedicated to the treatment of acute and chronic forms of herpes and HPV infections, chronic viral hepatitis B and C. The doctors of different specialties: infectiologists, immunologist, obstetricians-gynecologists, oncogynaecologist, dermatologists and others took part in the discussion.

On November 12th, 2016 the first intercollegiate scientific competition "Quest for the treasures of science" took place. The Scientific Society of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was represented by students of the School of Biology and 3 students of the School of Medicine: Anait Serobyan, Denis Gorbachev, Andrey Yevtushenko. For the victory in competition, team was awarded a diploma, certificates for participation and good gifts.

November 10, 2016

On November 11, 2016, students of the School of Medicine started to use the system of remote preparation for KROK-2 at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance (in absentia) Learning of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. On November 11th, 2016 at 15.00 in the room 5-80, Northern Building of the University the presentation of the system for students studying in Ukrainian and Russian languages (Russian-speaking foreign students), will take place. All interested are welcome!

On November 6th, 2016 at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University the first in the current year Open Door Day was carried out. During the event the meetings of students with the Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor I. V. Belozyorov and school members were held where participants could acquainted with the history and structure of the School, admission specifics, features and advantages of the classic medical education.

Second year medical student from V. N. Karazin Kharkov National University Taisiia Sazonova participated in the Annual Young Medical Scientists Conference (AYMSConf), that took place from October 28th till October 30th, 2016 at Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Actualization of preparation materials and information for the integrated license exam “KROK-1. General medical training" for the 3rd year students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was done. The update of the program "Assistant" to version 1.2, the update of distance course and additional materials have been done (bugs have been fixed, the booklet of 2016 have been added).

Teaching staff of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University – Head of the Department, Professor Protsenko Elena, Associate professor Remnyova Natalya and Assistant Zhemela Olga – took part in the VII National Congress of Pathophysiologists of Ukraine with the participation of international experts «Pathophysiology and Pharmacy: Ways of Integration», which was held October 5-7, 2016 , at the National University of Pharmacy, Kharkov, Ukraine.

As part of the All-Ukrainian high medical education reform, which is aimed at improving its quality, regulatory documents that govern the training of specialists of education level "Master of Medicine" on specialty 222 "Medicine" in the field of knowledge 22 "Health care" have been developed and published by the School of Medicine. Since September 1st, 2017 the training of future physicians will be carried out exclusively in accordance with these documents by the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Karazin Kharkiv National University for Scientific and Pedagogic Work (for International Cooperation), Candidate of Physico-Mathematical Sciences, Professor Z. F. Nazyrov.
