Students of the 6th course of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University presented their own business plans during the practical classes on social medicine and organization of the health care system. At the seminar more than 50 business ideas and more than 10 ideas for reforming of the medical care systems in different countries were presented. Discussions on the proposed strategies involving the staff of the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine of the School of Medicine and 6th year students were held during the presentation. The most interesting works among the presented ones were works on the production practice of schoolchildren of the 11th form of the school for their professional orientation; work on the reform of the ambulance and emergency medical care system in Africa, and work on the development of medical tourism at the international level.
The best works were selected by secret ballot. The best business plans are included in the register of the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine, and their authors received additional ECTS scores. The seminar on business ideas among 6th year students has already became the annual tradition of the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine.
