On April 5, 2016 competitions in archery has been completed. They were held as part of the 66th Student Spartakiad of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv University. The female team of the School of Medicine with the students of 2nd year Anna Ignatenko and Yulia Tkachenko showed good results and won the 3rd prize place.

On April 19, 2016 at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University the IІІ Student Scientific and Practical Conference «Sports Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation Modern Aspects» took place. The conference was organized by the Department of General Practice - Family Medicine.

The 5th year students of the School of Medicine participated in the III International Medical and Pharmaceutical Congress of Students and Young Scientists called "Priorities and prospects of youth science", which took place on April 6-8, 2016 on the basis of Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsy).

On April 14, 2016 the final competition of the 66th Student Spartakiad of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in basketball 3x3 took place. The women's team of the School of Medicine which included Valeria Sahno, Elena Delic and Anna Nazarenko won team of the School of Philosophy and took first place.

April 16, 2016

On April 8, 2016 at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of Bogomolets National Medical University the II stage of Ukrainian Student Olympiad on discipline "Microbiology, Virology and immunology" was held, which was represented by 12 Universities of Ukraine. The first round (theoretical) includes an assessment of theoretical knowledge of students. The competition task of the first round included 5 questions from different sections of the discipline. In the second round (practical) students competed solving situational tasks, they stained, used microscope and analyzed bacterial preparations. The jury determined the winners in personal superiority on the total number of points, scored in the two rounds of the Olympiad.

A traditional contest "Beauty of the University 2016" was held in the University of Karazin with the help of the Universitity Cultural Centre, with the support of the Trade Union of Students and doctoral students and the Student Council. Romanovskaya Kseniya, a 3rd year student, was decided to be a representative of our department. Kseniya became a winner in 4 categories, 4 titles were won by her: "Miss trade union", "Miss attractiveness", "Miss younova» and "Miss Universe".
