From 17 to 26 March, 2016 ten Ukrainian students took part in the international program «Mit Zuversicht in die Zukunft», organized by the public organization «Chance» in Berlin.

Student’s scientific team has been working under the direction of Professor I.S. Lebec since foundation of department of pediatrics. In 2015, the Student’s Scientific Team for English speakers was established. The main its aim was inclusion of English-speaking students to research work and participation in scientific international conferences, etc.

On March 17, 2016 at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University the IV English-language Student Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of occupational pathology" was held. The organizer of the scientific event was the Department of General Practice - Family Medicine.

In the section "For Students" of website of the School of Medicine subsection "Preparation for KROK examinations" has been added, in which there is a short description of the KROK license exam, description of the system of preparation and materials of preparation for KROK exams.

Voting lasts from 11 to 29 March 2016, during which the winner will be determined in the "Miss trade union." The winner will receive a prize from the trade union organization University of Kharkiv on the final part of the annual contest "The Beauty of the University - 2016" March 31, 2016.

On March 4th, 2016, students of the School of Medicine started to use the system of remote preparation for KROK-1 at the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance (in absentia) Learning of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

On February 24, 2016 the solemn meeting of the Academic Board of the School of Medicine in occasion of the 250th anniversary of the birth of E. O. Mukhin was held. Ephraim Osipovich Mukhin is a founder of domestic traumatology, surgeon, anatomist, physiologist, hygienist, Doctor of Medicine and honorable member of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

From February 14th to February 21th, 2016 at University of Kharkiv four students from Poznan (Poland) have been had an internship in the framework of the exchange program of medical students between the public association "Ukrainian Medical Students Association" (UMSA) and Polish non-governmental student organization SASA Foundation. The internship was at the Department of Surgical Diseases, Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of the School of Medicine at the State Establishment "Institute of General and Emergency Surgery of NAMS of Ukraine" under the leadership of head of department, Doctor of Medicine, Professor I. V. Belozerov.
