On November 4, 2018 it was held an open day at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. It was the first such event in current academic year. Participants of the open day were Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of medicine, Full Professor, I. V. Beloz’orov and scientific and pedagogical staff of the School.

On the 1st of November 2018 the first meeting was held within the framework of the educational project "Neurological control". The event will be organized by the representatives of the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association, in the framework of the Medical Education committee (SCOME), on the basis of the State Organization “Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”, with the support of the Department of Clinical Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, within the framework of the university program "Students health".

On October 30, 2018 in the course of Students’ Games in V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held a Badminton Competition among men teams. The School of Medicine was represented by Dzhytendra Chaudari (6th year) and Satish Kumar Periyasvami (5th year).

On October 23, 2018, a working meeting of Presidents, first Vice-Presidents, directors, deans and heads of educational departments of higher education institutions, who train applicants for higher education in the Health Protection area, was held in as a part of public discussion of the “Strategies for the development of medical education in Ukraine”. The meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Testing Center at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

According to the letter by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 1/9-650 from October 23, 2018 on the website of the School of Medicine it has been published “Methodological Recommendations for Academic Integrity Principles Maintaining” and “Extended Glossary of terms and concepts art. 42 “Academic Integrity” of the Law of Ukraine “On higher education” in order to provide academic integrity with the staff’ and students’ of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University respect.

On October 26 2018, a social and medical campaign “Start taking care of the heart - prolong your life” was held. The event was organized by representatives of the Ukrainian Medical Student Association at the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, as part of the university program "Student Health" with the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, Graduates and Doctoral Students of the University.

On October 10-12, 2018, the Second All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Theory and Practice of Modern Morphology” was held on the basis of the State Establishment "Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy of Health Ministry of Ukraine". Head of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology Elena S. Protsenko participated in the plenary session and workshop classes, which were devoted to modern standards of immunohistochemical research methods, the latest updates in the classification of lymphomas, and transmission electron microscopy.

On August 23, 2018, Konrad Adenauer Foundation scholars were awarded. Scholarships were awarded to 4th year students of the School of Medicine Kulminskaya Vladislava and Sazonova Taisiia.

On October 18, 2018 at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University the action "Paint October in pink", dedicated to the day of fighting with breast cancer, was held. The event was organized by the team of the local representative office of the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association (UMSA) with the support of the Student Scientific Society of the School of Medicine, Trade Union of Students of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the framework of the program "Student Health".
