November 16, 2018 at the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the framework of the International Scientific Conference “Kharkov sociological readings. The language of sociology: modern trends” held a round table “Attitude to medical reform of participants in the educational process in the medical industry”. The discussion was held in the base of interdisciplinary interaction of members of the sociological faculty and the medical community.

On November 6, 2018 the Department of General Practice – Family Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University supported by Ukrainian-African Academic Centre held the VI English-language scientific and practical conference “Sports Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation – Modern Aspects” where more than 350 students took part. The conference was organized and moderated by scientific and pedagogical staff members of the Department of General Practice – Family Medicine A. V. Kovalenko, I. I. Adamovych and O. H. Reznychenko.

The sixth seminar of human anatomy was held in October 2018 for English speaking students. Students of the 2nd year are interested in participating in such forums. The topics of the seminar's reports concerned the medical problems of the nervous system.

Karazin Kharkiv National University a scientific conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists with international participation "Actual problems of medical ethics and deontology of different countries of the world (modern views)" was held.

Stoke Simulation Center was opened at M. V. Sklifosofsky Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital with the dedication for the World Stroke Day and it became the first in Ukraine and the second in Eastern Europe.

On November 4, 2018 it was held an open day at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. It was the first such event in current academic year. Participants of the open day were Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of medicine, Full Professor, I. V. Beloz’orov and scientific and pedagogical staff of the School.

On the 1st of November 2018 the first meeting was held within the framework of the educational project "Neurological control". The event will be organized by the representatives of the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association, in the framework of the Medical Education committee (SCOME), on the basis of the State Organization “Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”, with the support of the Department of Clinical Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, within the framework of the university program "Students health".
