On April 5, 2018 on the basis of sports complex “Unifekht” basketball competitions (3 х 3) of the 68th Spartakiada Games of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University were held among the teams that were represented by different schools. Women's team of the School of Medicine consisting of students Anna Nazarenko, Valeria Sakhno and Veronyka Shepel during the competition showed an extremely high level of the game and won, taking first place.

April 5, 2018

On March 30-31, 2018 students of the School of medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took part in the V Allukrainian Contest in Practical Surgery (Kyiv, Ukraine). For the fifth year in a row, a competition for students and young professionals has been held in Kiev, in which the most talented and motivated future surgeons from different cities of Ukraine take part. The contest format includes simulation operations on organocomplexes of pigs (wet lab) and laboratory animals (vet lab), as well as working on surgical simulators. The main subject of the competition is practical skills applicable in various areas of surgery. The contest is judged by experienced doctors, teachers, heads of scientific and practical sections, chief doctors of clinics.

April 3, 2018

On March 30, 2018 at the entertainment complex "Misto" the 10th anniversary Karazin University competition "Mister University" was held. The competition was organized by the Student Council of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Representatives of 17 schools of the University took part in the event. The most interesting young people of the University had two stage appearances and their own creative number, during which they won the hearts of the jury with their charisma, masculinity and creativity.

In November, 2017 the Graduate of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Adzhay Eniola Rut had successfully passed the exams and entered the Magistracy of the American High School, University of North Texas to the program «Masters of Health Administration».
