On October 16, 2018 in the course of Schools’ Games of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held a Checkers competition. The School of Medicine was represented by the 1st year students: Artem Snehir'ov, Daler Sadrydinov and Danylo Rudenko. According to the tournament results our students won the 3rd place overall.

On October 11, 2018, in Kiev was held a scientific and practical conference devoted to the World Thrombosis Day «Thrombophlebitis in Ukraine». Contemporary World Trends. " The program was full of reports by cardiologists, general practitioners (family doctors), obstetricians, gynecologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, neurologists about the mechanisms of development, prevention, and comprehensive treatment of venous thromboembolism.

October 10, 2018

On October 8, 2018 it was held another meeting of Students Scientific Section at the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. While the meeting it were presented two papers dedicated to its general topic “Tattoos in history and in modern life from histologist’s point of view”, in which all pros and cons had been considered.

The fourth seminar of human anatomy was held on October 01, 2018 for English speaking students. Students of the 2nd year are interested in participating in such forums. The topics of the seminar's reports concerned the medical problems of the modernity.

On September 27, 2018, the Ukrainian association for the Study of Pain organized an interdisciplinary symposium "Pain control", which took place in Kharkiv for the second year.

On September 19, 2018 in Kyiv in the course of annual Stella International Beauty Awards the Training Center of Esthetic Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was considered to be one of the best training centers in esthetic medicine, beauty and health industry. According to the results of preliminary online-voting and peer review the Center was ranked among the best 10 ones in Ukraine.

September 24, 2018

On September 19, 2018 in the assembly hall of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held an Olympic lesson, where winners of the 68th Students’ Games were awarded. In the overall the School of Medicine took the 3rd place in the 1st subgroup. The President of the University, academician V. S. Bakirov presented a cup to instructor of Department of physical culture and sports O. H. Korchevs’ka and the 6th year student of the School, a member of University badminton team Lolita Horobec’.

September 23, 2018

On September 20, 2018 the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine R. V. Greba visited V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. He heads a ministerial commission supervising the transfer process of the university clinic of Karazin University. During the visit of the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine a meeting with foreign students of the School of Medicine and a visit to the university clinic by the delegation were organized.
