November 16, 2018 at the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in the framework of the International Scientific Conference “Kharkov sociological readings. The language of sociology: modern trends” held a round table “Attitude to medical reform of participants in the educational process in the medical industry”. The discussion was held in the base of interdisciplinary interaction of members of the sociological faculty and the medical community.
During the discussion, questions were raised about the strategy for the development of medical education in Ukraine, the positive and negative aspects of medical reform, the financing of the medical industry, and the “braindrain”.
The discussion was attended by scientific and pedagogical staff and delegate of the student government of the School of medicine of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Kharkiv National Medical University.
