On November 5, 2017 on the basis of the Sports and Fencing Club "Unifekht" of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, there were competitions in mini-football on the initiative and with the support of the Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine , full professor I. V. Belozorov. In the course of the competitions, 12 matches were played on the Dean's Cup of the School of Medicine, in which 4 teams of 1-4 courses of Ukrainian and English-speaking forms of education took part. At the tournament, the Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, full professor I. V. Belozorov, Associate Dean for International Students A. I. Gula, Associate Dean for Character Building of International Students, Candidate of Medicine, Associate professor K. A. Shamun, Student Dean, Head of Student Academic Council K. B. Romanovska, as well as instructors and students of different schools of the university were rooting for their favorites.

On November 5, 2017 students of the School of Medicine - representatives of the Charitable Organization of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University visited the "Center for the Treatment of Animals." The aim of the event was to foster love among the inhabitants of Kharkiv for animals and to involve the public in charitable activities. During the event, students had the opportunity to communicate with animals and take care of them.

November 8, 2017

On November 5, 2017, the Open Day was held at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. As part of the event, a meeting with the administration of the university and the school, representatives of the admissions committee, student assets and the applicants and their parents was held. The School of Medicine was visited by more than 400 applicants who received exhaustive information about training programs, admission rules, school activities and student life at the school.

On October 20, 2017 in Kiev, an international scientific and practical conference "Actual issues of psychiatric and narcological assistance in Ukraine and the world. Personal-oriented psychotherapy », attended by students of the 5th course of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Naveen Bhardwaj, Ashwani Kumar Berwal, Devraj Sharma took place. Our students made a report "The level of anxiety and depression of Indian first-year students studying in Ukraine". Scientific work was carried out under the guidance of the Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology, Neurology and Medical Psychology D. V. Shtrigol.

On November 3, 2017 at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University an action "Save your heart", dedicated to the prevention of cardiac pathology, was held. The event was organized in the framework of the university program "Student Health" by the representatives of the Student Committee of Medical Education (SCOME) of the local representation of the Ukrainian Medical Student Association (UMSA) at the Karazin University with the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, Graduates and Doctoral Students of the University.

On October 20-21, 2017 the IX All-Ukrainian Congress of Students' Scientific Societies and Societies of Young Scientists was held in Danil Galytsky Lviv National Medical University. The goal of the congress was to optimize the coordination of the activities of societies, joint actions and discuss the prospects for further development. The School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University was introduced by the members of Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Candidates and Youthful Scientists, 5th year students Vadim Litvinov and Anton Sitbatalov.

On October 2-3, 2017, the 3rd International Conference "Central Nervous System Diseases and Therapy" was held in Vienna, Austria. The School of Medicine was presented by the 4 year student, the Chairman of the Student Scientific Society Olena Delich, presenting the scientific work "Neuromyelitis optica: a case report", prepared under the guidance of the Doctor of Medicine, Associate Professor of the Department of Clinical Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology O. Y. Merkulova.

On October 27, 2017 students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Olena Delich (4 year), Katerina Belozorova (3 year), Veronika Shepel (2 year), Salome Gegia (2 year), Victoria Davidok (2 year) , Anayit Serobyan (2 year) took part in the All-Ukrainian educational project-symposium "Pain Control: the art of controlling pain". It was devoted to interdisciplinary approaches to the control of pain.

Instructors of the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University during the university project "Curator's Hour" organized an excursion for the 3-year students to the Museum of Archeology. During the excursion, the students got acquainted with the exhibits of the museum and learned a lot of interesting things.
