On December 5-6, 2019 instructors of the Department of General and Clinical Immunology and Allergology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Head of the Department, Doctor of Medicine, Professor T. Liadova, Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine O. Volobuieva and Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine O. Kozlov took part in Annual Christmas Lectures “Innovations in Immunology and Allergology" (Lviv, Ukraina), that are considered to be the most significant event in Ukrainian Immunology and Allergology.

On December 3-4, 2019 at the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University it was held the traditional (third) Students Scientific Conference “Topical Issues of Modern Histology”. This year for the first time, the conference was held in two sections (in English and Ukrainian languages).

5th-year students of the School of Medicine of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Taisiia Sazonova and Yulia Zhadan took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Annual Young Medical Scientists’ Conference 2019", which was held from October 22 to 23 2019 at the Bogomolets National Medical University. Our students presented their reports within the framework of the scientific sections "Internal Medicine" and "Obstetrics and Gynecology".

November 27, 2019

By the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1428 dated November 15, 2019, it was created a specialized academic council D 64.051.33 of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University having right to accept and hold dissertations defence to award a degree of Doctor (Candidate) of Medicine in specialities 14.01.03 - surgery, 14.01.02 - internal diseases and 14.03.08 - immunology and allergology (medical sciences).

November 27, 2019

Students of the School of Medicine took part in the 2nd scientific and practical Internet conference with international participation “Mechanisms of development of pathological processes and diseases and their pharmacological correction”, which was held on November 21, 2019 at the Department of Pathological Physiology of the National University of Pharmacy. Presentations were made by Kryshtalevich Alina, 4th year, and Schneiderman Sofia, 4th year.

November 26, 2019

The African Medical Students Association (AMSA) of the School of Medicine of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on November 21, 2019 held a conference and a seminar on practical and experimental cardiology in the Northern building of the university. During the conference, myocardial structure, visualization of cardiovascular diseases, non-drug treatment of arterial hypertension, minimally invasive treatment and rhythm disturbances were considered.

Students of the School of Medicine took part in the V inter-university scientific and practical conference for young scientists, students and medical interns “Modern issues of laboratory medicine”, which was held on November 13, 2019 on the basis of the educational and scientific medical complex “University Clinic” of Kharkov National Medical University.

November 17, 2019

Students and teachers of the School of Medicine took part in the planting of 215 trees in different locations of Kharkiv on the occasion of the 215th anniversary of Karazin University. The Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor I.V. Belozorov, teachers and students of the School took an active part in the event. After the event, everyone was treated to a hot and tasty kulesh from the field kitchen.
