In May 2019, leading entomologists studying aquatic co-wings arrived for the first time in Ukraine. Their efforts are integrated by the international organization "Balfour-Brown Club". Alexander Shatrovskiy, associate professor of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology, has been entrusted with the organisation of a trip for foreign and Ukrainian specialists. The expedition was supported by the British Museum of Natural History.

On June 24, 2019 students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University have sent an open letter to Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor I. V. Bеlozorov and President of Karazin University V. S. Bakirov where they emphasize that IFOM BSE implementation and holding among the 3rd students in 2019 break current legislation and students’ rights and freedoms.

On June 19, 2019, the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University received a letter No. 386 from the State Organization "Center for testing of the professional competence of specialists with higher education in the areas of training "Medicine" and "Pharmacy" (hereinafter- the CT) under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (hereinafter - the Ministry of Health).

On June 6, 2019, a student conference was held at the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which was attended by more than 450 foreign students and students of Ukraine from the all medical schools. Speakers and observers were also present: Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, full professor I. V. Belozerov, Deputy Dean of Educational Work of the School of Medicine, Candidate of Medicine, Associate professor O. O. Vlasenko, Deputy Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of International Education on Educational and Adaptation Work A. S. Staff members of the Department of General Practice – Family Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine A. H. Reznichenko and Associate Professor, Candidate of Medicine S. V. Hridnieva took part in an international specialized scientific and pedagogical internship program for medical higher educational institutions instructors on the basis of Lublin Medical University (Poland).

On May 30, 2019 in Kharkiv National Medical University 15 students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University took the military Oath of Allegiance to the people of Ukraine. Students of Kharkiv National Medical University and Kharkiv National University of Pharmacy also took part in the event.
