On March 28-29, 2019, the XVI International Scientific Conference of Students, Young Scientists and Specialists "Topical Issues of Modern Medicine" was held, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the revival of the departments of internal medicine, surgical diseases, general and clinical immunology and allergology of the medical faculty of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

As part of a student research project of human anatomy were continued some seminars included topics about peculiarities morphological structures of abdominal cavity. The third seminar was held on April 2-3, 2019 for English speaking students.

Savelieva Lilia, the student of the 6th year of studying - III place in the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific papers in "Preventive medicine" (in English). Topic of the scientific paper "Study of peculiarities of health-saving behavior of student youth under conditions of professional orientation, healthy lifestyle and measures for its implementation awareness", scientific advisor Doctor of Medical Science, Associate Professor, Letyago G.V.

On March 28, 2019 in the gym of the Northern building of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University competitions of the Trade Union Badminton Cup were held, the winner of which was the team of the School of Medicine, 6th year students Lolita Horobets and Jitendra Chovdari.

As part of a research project of human anatomy were held some seminars included topics about morphological basis of abdominal surgery. The second seminar was held on March 19-20, 2019 for English speaking students.

March 23, 2019

On March 21, the annual tournament “The Bowling Dean's Cup of the School of Medicine” was held at the Misto Club. Participants was being students of all courses and teachers defending the honor of their departments. 20 teams struggled in 2 stages. 5 teams of students and 5 teams of teachers reached the final. All had excellent results, but the best were the winners. The third place among students was taken by the team “Inozemtsy”, the 2nd course. The 2nd place was taken the combined team “Bong-boom” of the 2-4 courses. The winners were our young first-year students with the name of the team “Medmafiya”. The teachers fought worthily against each other. The 3rd place was given to the team from Department of Clinical Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology "Neuronauky". In second place is the team of the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy "T-34", headed by our dean, Igor Viktorovich Belozerov.

On March 14-15, 2019, the Department of Clinical Neurology, Psychiatry and Narcology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held a scientific-practical conference "Opportunities and Achievements of Modern Pharmacotherapy in the Practice of a Neurologist", which caused great interest among specialists from Ukraine and other countries. The conference was also attended by students of the School of Medicine.

March 18, 2019

On March 14th , 2019, the African medical students association of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University held the ophtalmology conference for English-speaking students " Healthy eye, healthy vision". Active participants of the conference are students of school of medicine V.N Karazin Kharkov national university and Ternopil state medical university: Philip Sedem, Nyamekye Michael, Babas Puamus, Michelle Iyiegbu, Hammed Ibrahem, Abdallah Monzer, Osuji Shedrack Chinechetam, Daria Vorona, Ogbe Titia Taiye, Mohime Joshua and David Opetoritse. they presented reports in English. The supervisor of the conference was Dr. Inesa O. Ishkova. The Dean was also in attendance and expressed joy and encouraged students to be involved in researches.

On March 14, 2019 in the House of Scientists it was held a meeting of Kharkiv Medical Immunologists’ Society. In the course of the meeting Doctor of Medicine, Associate Professor of the Department of General and Clinical Immunology and Allergology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Deputy General Director for polyclinic work of Oblast Children’s Clinical Hospital № 1, chief freelance specialist for children’s immunology of Kharkiv Oblast State Administration Healthcare Department A. N. Savvo made a presentation about a clinical case of APDSI-syndrome “Lifelong Diagnostic Odyssey”.
