History of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation

The Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine and Physical Rehabilitation was created on the basis of the decision of the Academic Council of the Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin in 27August2018 by reorganizing the Department of Internal Medicine. The elected head of the department is the candidate of medical sciences Brynza Mariia Sergiyivna. Graduates of the Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin began their work as assistants in the first stuff of the department. The staff of the department also includes four teachers who have received specialization in sports medicine and rehabilitation at Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.

A great deal of attention has been paid to teaching and methodological and methodological worksince the first days of the organization and the department work; methodical instructions for preparing students for lectures and practical classes were created and distributed. Teaching of disciplines was conducted and continued in English at a high scientific and methodological level of educational disciplines in the educational and professional program of preparation of applicants for higher education in specialties 222 «Medicine».
