Educational work is one of the priority of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology. The department trains students in 4 disciplines in Ukrainian and English. The total amount of academic work is 12389 academic hours, including 90 lecture hours and 8890 practical classes and seminars.
The teaching of students at the Department is carried out according to the recommendations of the Recommendations to discipline's Standardized Curriculum. approved by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Training is conducted according to the guidelines of Bologna Processes.
The educational process at the Department is carried out using modern multimedia and computer technology, a sufficient number of visual materials, as well as using innovative approaches to the educational process. Students are actively involved in the clinical and scientific work of the Department.
Students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of modern medical and diagnostic equipment in the process of educational activities at the Department.
Practical exercises are conducted in conditions that are as close to real as possible. Students take part in clinical examinations of patients, the selection and implementation of therapeutic and diagnostic measures in specific clinical cases in staff rounds, symposium, consultations, etc. This is allows students to gain invaluable clinical and practical experience at the training stage.
