Educational work of the Department of Dentistry

After obtaining a license for educational activities on the educational program "Dentistry" to the second (master's) level of higher education, specialty 221, Dentistry is scheduled for training of higher education specialty in dentistry.

We also plan to start educational activities in the field of postgraduate education in specialty 221 Dentistry training for 1 month (internships in specialty - dentistry, therapeutic dentistry, children's dentistry, surgical dentistry, orthopedic dentistry and orthodontics), 0.5 months (thematic improvement), 3 months (specialization with specialty - therapeutic dentistry, dentistry, orthopedic dentistry and children's dentistry), 4 months (specialization with specialty - surgical stomatology), 6 months (specialization with specialty - orthodontics), 9 months (specialization with specialty - maxillofacial surgery) , 0.25 months (trainings on mastering practical skills), 0.25 months (master classes).

In preparing higher education applications to the program, innovative directions are introduced, namely - 3D technologies in medicine. The use of 3D technologies in student teaching increases the quality of the preparation of a modern dentist much more efficient than working with live patients. The use of 3D technologies requires a student-dentist knowledge of computer science, the effective formation of competences in this direction is possible only when students' study by specialists of the Department of Dentistry of the School of Medicine.
