Methodical work of the Department of Cardiology, Laboratory and Functional Diagnostics

The methodical work of the department is carried out on an ongoing basis, and its result is a complete methodological support of the department disciplines. Prepared teaching materials are available to students in electronic form online, as well as in printed form.

The result of the department methodical work over the period of its existence is preparation of "Course of lectures on clinical cardiology", which was supplemented and republished in 2020, "Handbook of Cardiology," published in 2009, reissued in 2012, 2014 and 2017 by the department staff under the leadership of V.Y. Tseluyko. In addition, methodical developments and tutorials have been published. Methodical support packages have been developed and are constantly kept up-to-date for the main cardiological pathologies, including methods for assessing students' knowledge, methodical recommendations for practical exercises and for independent work, bases of test and situational tasks for the current control of knowledge, lists of check questions and recommended literature, multimedia presentations of lectures, etc.
