The meeting’s program focused on complex issues in cardiology and endocrinology. All presentations and discussions were conducted exclusively in English, highlighting the high level of preparation of future physicians for work in the international medical field and their ability to utilise data from modern English-language protocols.
Meeting Program and Presentations:
Sasaki Mineki, 6th-year student, Presentation Title: "Comprehensive Clinical Review of Pericarditis, Myocarditis, and Cardiomyopathies." The speaker presented a detailed analysis of inflammatory and structural myocardial diseases, emphasising modern differential diagnosis criteria and the clinical characteristics of these pathologies in accordance with international standards.
Iso Iso Usang, 6th-year student, Presentation Title: «Pseudocoronary ECG Changes.» The report analysed cases of ECG phenomena that mimic ischemic myocardial changes. The student demonstrated how non-cardiac factors and electrolyte imbalances can influence the interpretation of an electrocardiogram, which is critical for avoiding diagnostic errors in emergency care.
Hazem Hossam, 6th-year student, Presentation Title: «Hypothyroidism and the Cardiovascular System: New Insights into Pathogenesis.» The presentation was dedicated to the relationship between endocrine pathology and cardiovascular disorders. It covered the latest scientific data regarding the impact of thyroid hormone deficiency on hemodynamics, lipid profiles, and the risks of developing heart failure.
Al-Deenali Hibah, 6th-year student, Presentation Title: «Atrial Fibrillation in the Context of Heart Failure and Multimorbidity.» The speaker addressed the complex topic of treating rhythm disturbances in patients with comorbid conditions. Particular emphasis was placed on anticoagulant therapy tactics and strategies for heart rate control in patients with combined therapeutic pathologies.
The meeting concluded with an active session, where participants exchanged views on the clinical cases presented. The high proficiency in medical English and the profound theoretical knowledge of the speakers confirmed the effectiveness of the society’s work in training competitive specialists.
