On March 26, 2026, the Medical Faculty of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, in cooperation with Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, held a scientific and practical conference entitled “Comorbidity of Somatic and Mental Disorders.”
The event was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and took place online via the Zoom platform.
The conference commenced at 12:30. The Organizing Committee was chaired by Professor Tetiana Tykhonova, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Medical Faculty at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The leadership of the Organizing Committee also included Associate Professor Mariia Matvieienko, Head of the Department of General Surgery, Anesthesiology and Palliative Medicine at Kharkiv National University, and Associate Professor Oleh Chernyshov, Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Surgical Disciplines at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.
The program covered a wide range of issues at the intersection of somatic medicine, surgery, and psychiatry. The conference became an important platform for the exchange of scientific and practical experience among specialists from various medical fields from Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.
