On January 26, 2022, one of the founders of the Medical Faculty of Karazin University, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases, Professor, Doctor of Medcine Yevhen Dmytrovych Khvorostov passed away. A teacher for generations of doctors and scientists, a friend and support for the staff of the department, faculty and university, an unsurpassed surgeon, the best educator, a bright and kind person.

The WHO Office in Ukraine together with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine opened an all-Ukrainian exhibition "Ukrainian physicians: those who are always near" on the occasion of the Day of universal coverage of health services. The first city to host the exhibition after the capital was Kharkiv and Karazin University. 2021 has declared the WHO International Year of Health and Social Workers as a token of appreciation for its contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and other diseases.

On December 16, 2021, the final stages of the mini-football competitions within the framework of the 72nd Karazin University games were held on the basis of the Karazinsky Sports Center. The our team of Hafsi Hakim, Yassin Lashgar, Mortada Ech-chezhai and Otman Tahori demonstrated a high level of play and won the competition.

On December 16, 2021, Karazin University presented certificates of recognition of the information resource of the e-learning system as educational and methodological work to the staff of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine.
