On June 24, 2019 students of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University have sent an open letter to Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor I. V. Bеlozorov and President of Karazin University V. S. Bakirov where they emphasize that IFOM BSE implementation and holding among the 3rd students in 2019 break current legislation and students’ rights and freedoms.
A survey held among the 3rd year students of the School of Medicine demonstrated that consent to collecting, processing and storage of personal data WOULD NOT BE GIVEN by more than 98% of students.
Moreover, in view of the fact that IFOM holding is scheduled on July 1-3, 2019 and thus overlaps holidays period and contradicts the academic process schedule of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University on current 2018/2019 academic year, the same number of students (more than 98%) claimedthaton July 1-3, 2019 they WOULD NOT COME to the IFOM BSE scheduled by State Organization “Testing Centre of Professional Competence of Specialists with Higher Education in “Medicine” and “Pharmacy” areas under the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine”.
