On December 15, 2017 in the Column Hall of the Northern Corps of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University supported by Students Council of the University it was held the annual University Charity Winter Ball. The main aim of the event was collecting means for buying equipment for PI “Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”. The event was visited by the rector of the University V. S. Bakirov, the director of PI “Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” H. M. Danilenko, deans and vice-deans of schools, etc.
In the course of the event except classic waltz danced by more than 50 students couples it was introduced a program filled with vocal and choreographic performances. It was also held a charity auction, that helped to collect more than 150 000 UAH for buying equipment for PI “Institute of Child and Adolescent Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine”.
Students of the School of Medicine were widely involved in organizing and carrying out the University Winter Ball as participants, organizers, patrons of art, etc.
