Scientific work of the Department of Pediatrics № 2

The scientific work of the department is an integral part of its activity.Thanks to their scientific research, the staff of the department are recognized scientific specialists in their fields not only in Ukraine but also abroad.

The department carries out research work "Clinical manifestations and evolution of cardiovascular disorders in children with chronic pathology of the gastrointestinal tract."

Employees of the department take part in the following research developments of scientific institutions of Kharkiv:

"To determine the mechanisms of formation of comorbid conditions in adolescents with rheumatic diseases", № state registration 0116U003033.

"To study the clinical polymorphism of juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and to develop criteria for early diagnosis and prognosis of the disease", № state registration 0114U001020.

Employees of the department take an active part in national and international scientific congresses, conferences, symposiums, actively speak at national and international forums.

The department has a scientific circle in pediatrics, which contains three scientific areas: pediatric cardiorheumatology, gastroenterology, endocrinology.Every year the results of scientific research of students are reported at student forums in Ukraine and abroad, receiving prizes.

The department is the organizer of the annual conference for young scientists, graduate students and students on topical issues of pediatrics "Problems of the present in pediatrics".

On February 14, 2020, a scientific symposium with international participation "Innovative technologies and multidisciplinary aspects in the work of a modern doctor" was held with the participation of the department, which was attended by more than a hundred specialists in the field of pediatrics.
