Students of the 3rd year of the Ukrainian-language program visit the Museum of Pathological Anatomy
Every Wednesday students of the 3rd year of the Ukrainian-language program visit the Museum of Pathological Anatomy at the department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicineto improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the "Pathomorphology" course.
Currently, the museum has more than 650 unique exhibits that help in-depth study of the subject. Museum exhibits are systematized and presented in sections according to the thematic plan of practical classes: cell pathology, inflammation, hemodynamic disorders, tumors, infectious diseases, pathology of the cardiovascular system, etc. The museum has also a wide range of specimens of numerous congenital malformations. Students can study in person the manifestations and complications of many diseases. Despite the difficult situation in our country, students show interest and strive to gain practical skills and knowledge in Pathomorphology.
Classes in the Museum of Pathological Anatomy are conducted by an Associate Professor of the department, candidate of Medicine, Nataliia Tkachenko.
