Meeting of the hygiene and social medicine section was held as part of the XX International Scientific Conference "Actual Issues in Modern Medicine"

On May 25, 2023, a meeting of the hygiene and social medicine section was held as part of the XX International Scientific Conference of Students, Young Scientists and Specialists "Actual Issues in Modern Medicine", organized by the School of Medicine of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.

Reports from Ukrainian and English-speaking students of higher education were presented at the meeting. The studies were devoted to the problems of health-related quality of life, psycho-emotional state, quality of sleep, nutrition and education of students.

Experienced scientists, young scientists and students took part in lively discussion of reports. In the center of attention were classical topics related to the prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, and current issues of today, namely: the influence of the level of education of the population on the development of the country's human capital.

Despite the fact that all the participants of the conference were in different parts of the world, and some - in a front-line city, nothing prevented everyone from speaking, and the friendly atmosphere facilitated communication.

The authors of the scientific works were awarded I-III degree diplomas, as well as certificates for the best presentation, relevance of the topic, novelty and originality.
