The timetable of classes, lists of groups and other necessary information for international students for the spring semester have been published

Attention international students of English-language education of all programs (online and offline programs)! The timetable of classes, lists of groups and other necessary information for international students for the spring semester have been published. Please read carefully the information in this message and the information provided by the links in it.

The spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year begins on February 13, 2023. All the necessary information to start the educational process is published at the link (alternatively, go to the "For students" section of the official website of the School of Medicine and click on the link " Timetable of classes for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year"), where you can find:

- the timetable of classes for the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year for all courses and forms of education, which is available at the link (folder 1);

- contacts of teachers of all disciplines, schedule of reworks and links to educational online platforms on which reworks are conducted (folder 2);

- contacts of the Dean's Office for work with international students (folder 3);

- lists of academic groups for all forms and courses of study (folder 4).

WARNING! IMPORTANTLY! Students can change their academic group only during the summer vacation. Appeals on this matter will only take up the time of the student and the staff of the Dean's Office. Changing the group is not possible in any case until June 2023!

The offline learning program is used for students of the 5th and 6th courses, since it was not possible to form a sufficient number of academic groups for the implementation of educational activities in the Ivano-Frankivsk branch of the Karazin University for the other courses. Transfer between groups of the online and offline study program is possible only once per spring semester for students of the 5th and 6th years (for this, the student must send a request to the Associate Dean for work with international students by Email – kozlov@karazin.ua). Students who change the study program will inevitably face the problem of the appearance of academic debt due to differences in the timetable of classes of online and offline groups.

Additional important information is placed at the top of the lists of academic groups: useful links, a description of the color indication in the tables, and more. In the lower part of the table with contacts of employees of the Dean's Office for work with international students, there are contact details of other Departments with a description of their area of competence. Students are requested to email only ONE request and await a response by addressing the request to the appropriate department. For example, appeals regarding financial matters to inspectors of the Dean's Office create an additional burden on them, but do not give the student anything, because the inspectors do not have access to the necessary information and cannot help students. While waiting for a response, please take into account that employees of all Departments have off-hours, weekends, and a queue of previously received requests from other students.

To increase students' awareness of the state of their financial and academic debt, cells with color indication have been added to the table with lists of academic groups. The yellow and red color of the cells next to the student's name indicates a high risk of expelling in June 2023 if the student does not eliminate the debt during the spring semester. Color indication will be added soon. Please note that the color indication of the "Financial debt" column is managed by the finance department and all questions on this matter should be addressed there (Email - doc.imo@karazin.ua).

All questions related to obtaining certificates by students, obtaining academic transcripts, expelling, renewal of studies, transfers, mobility programs, obtaining personal documents, confirmation of diplomas and other documents of students, migration status, receiving letters of invitation to study and other matters that are not directly related to the educational process, please address to the e-mail of the Institute of International Education (Email - imo@karazin.ua). The lecturers and staff of the Dean's Office of the School of Medicine do not have the competence to help and answer these questions, and your appeals to them in this regard will only lead to a waste of time.

We are grateful in advance to our students for their attentiveness and support of Ukraine and Karazin University in these difficult times! We wish you interesting classes, success in tests and exams! We hope to see you soon in the classrooms of the Karazin University!
