Karazin University is an authorized training center of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (USA)

We are proud to announce that the Center for Simulation Medicine of the School of Medicine has become an authorized and certified training center of the world's most famous National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).

Founded in 1975 in the United States and with more than 75,000 members, NAEMT is the only national association representing the professional interests of all emergency medical practitioners, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, emergency medical personnel, military medics and other professionals who provide pre-hospital and out-of-hospital first, emergency or preventive medical care. NAEMT members work in many government agencies, fire departments, hospital emergency services, private companies, police units, special forces, armed forces, and more.

NAEMT's high assessment of the level of qualification of Karazin instructors makes it possible to conduct educational courses and trainings at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and after the latter to issue certificates equivalent to those issued by NAEMT itself in the USA. In the near future, it is planned to conduct educational events and trainings in this area for a wide range of listeners.

Note that even before the NAEMT certification, the employees of the School of Medicine, who have NAEMT instructor certificates, made a significant contribution to the implementation of international emergency medical aid protocols in the practical activities of doctors, students, civilians, and military personnel, saving many lives of Ukrainians.

NAEMT certification allows Karazin University to train military medics according to NATO standards and issue certificates recognized by the Alliance, which creates the prerequisites for the formation of a powerful training center for military personnel of all NATO member countries and raising the level of qualification of Ukrainian military medics to international standards.
