As of October 13, 2022, the lecturers of the School of Medicine have completed the preparation of classrooms for classes with international students of English-language education who have chosen the offline study program. Classes with students of the School of Medicine will be held by teachers of the Karazin University on the basis of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Karpatska Street, 15; Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, 76019). Practice of clinical skills and abilities will be carried out on the basis of several hospitals of the city in accordance with the training plan for higher education applicants in specialty 222 "Medicine".
The schedule of classes and updated lists of groups of students enrolled in the full-time study program will be published in the near future. Please note that the published lists of students are not final and are constantly being supplemented.
On October 17, 2022, a meeting of the administration of the School of Medicine and the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Education with students who are already in Ivano-Frankivsk is planned at the university. More details about the time of the event will be announced later.
The schedule of classes in the offline study program will be drawn up according to the cyclical principle: one discipline is taught daily for 6-8 academic hours until the discipline's curriculum is fully completed. After that, the study of the next discipline begins according to the same principle.
In order to optimize the educational process, part of the disciplines that do not have a practical and clinical component and are completely theoretical will be taught online from October 17, 2022, which will enable students who are outside Ukraine and in other cities of Ukraine to get to Ivano-Frankivsk at the time of the start of classroom and clinical classes. The list of such disciplines differs for individual courses and averages 1-3 weeks.
