On January 12, 2022, a regular meeting of the psychiatric section of the student scientific society of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology was held.
In medical practice, there are often situations when somatic symptoms are a manifestation of a mental disorder. Just such a patient with complaints of skin itching was introduced to the students by Associate Professor of the Department Vovk Victoria. Psychodiagnostics was carried out using the pathopsychological method of research, a psychiatric interview, and psychopathological features were studied. Members of the student circle became direct participants in the psychodiagnostic process and gained valuable practical skills. We express our gratitude to the teaching staff of the department for the active work of the student scientific society and Gaydabrus A. V. for organizing an online meeting.
