On November 17-18, 2021, 11 employees of the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine took an active part in the organization and work of the annual scientific-practical online conference with international participation “Topical issues of physiology, pathology and organization of medical care for school children and adolescents” SI "ICAHC NAMS" dedicated to the memory of Professor Mykola Mykhailovych Korenev, the 90th anniversary of his birth.
The conference is included in the project "Register of the Ministry of Health and the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine of congresses, symposia and scientific-practical conferences to be held in 2021" (№ 397), and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, including and the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine co-organized this scientific event. The conference addressed topical issues related to preserving and strengthening the health of the younger generation, the organization of medical care for children, the mental health of children in modern society, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and long-term quarantine restrictions on physical and mental health of children, modern methods of assessing the physical development of schoolchildren, the impact of sports on the manifestations of motor asymmetry, etc. According to the results of research carried out withinthe research work of the department, including cooperation with the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of V.N.Karazin KhNU and the Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, were prepared speeches with oral reports and materials for publication in the conference collection.
