On March 28-29, 2019, the XVI International Scientific Conference of Students, Young Scientists and Specialists "Topical Issues of Modern Medicine" was held, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the revival of the departments of internal medicine, surgical diseases, general and clinical immunology and allergology of the medical faculty of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
More than 300 participants from Ukraine, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Belarus and other countries took part in the conference.
During the conference, students from different countries presented over 200 reports on the results of their own research. There was 13 sections that work in different directions of medical science:
• Internal medicine and clinical cases
• Surgery
• Pediatrics
• Obstetrics and gynecology
• Psychiatry, narcology and medical psychology
• Infectious diseases, immunology and allergy
• Neurology and neurosurgery
• Normal morphology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology
• Clinical pathology
• Hygiene and social medicine
• Family medicine, preventive medicine, healthy lifestyle
• Posters reports
• Young scientist
The participants of the conference have the possibility to take part in brain-ring in anatomy and "The cleverest" competitions for Ukraine and English-speaking students. Also everyone could take part in master classes and workshops.
After evaluating the results of the jury vote during the ceremony of the closing of the conference, the winners were awarded with memorable certificates and certificates.
