Ceremonial celebration of the 95th anniversary of the State Institution "Institute for the Protection of Children's and Adolescents' Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine"

On November 18, 2017, the State Institution “Institute for the Protection of Children's and Adolescents' Health of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” (IPCAH) celebrated its 95th anniversary. During the entire period of existence of the revived School of Medicine, the IPCAH is the clinical base of the departments of pediatrics, hygiene and social medicine. The ceremonial event were attended by leading scientists, doctors, representatives of the regional state administration and the regional council, heads of district administrations. The collective of the IPCAH was given diplomas and honorary signs.

For more than a century the Institute has been taking care of the health of children not only in Kharkiv and the region, but throughout the country. Highly qualified doctors and medical personnel, the leading scientists of the Institute do everything possible to ensure that the younger generation remains healthy in the future.

During the international conference "Actual issues of physiology, pathology and organization of medical care for school-age children and adolescents. Problematic questions of comorbid conditions in children and adolescents" 2 master classes were held:

  • "The method of qualimetric evaluation of information and innovation resources of research work" (allows to identify the advantages and disadvantages of research work, expand the opportunities for the transfer of scientific developments to practice, increase the level of the creation of new documents);
  • "Approaches to the psychological support of children with chronic somatic pathology in a hospital" (practical advice and generalizations of a practicing psychologist, Candidate of Psychology Olena Kirilova).
