A number of seminars were held dedicated to the organization of the work of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service

During two weeks the Department of Hygiene and Social Medicine of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University had been conducting a number of seminars with students of the 5th course of the English-language form of education. At the seminars the peculiarities of functioning and work of the sanitary and epidemiological service in modern conditions in Ukraine and other countries were considered.

The students prepared numerous reports-presentations on the peculiarities of national health systems, the sanitary and epidemiological services of countries and cities from which they came for education. During the discussion of the reports, optimal solutions were proposed for the existing problems and ways to overcome them.
