On November 16-17, 2017 the instructors of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Doctor of Medicine, full professor S. O. Sherstyuk and assistant S. I. Panov took part in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Prospects for the development of medical science and education", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the medical institute of Sumy State University. More than 250 scientists from the leading higher medical educational institutions of Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Lugansk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Mykolaiev took part in the conference.
During the conference, the meeting between the director of the medical institute of Sumy State University, Doctor of Medicine, full professor A. M. Loboda and representatives of medical institutes and schools that are subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was held. In particular, participation in the meeting was attended by Doctor of Medicine, full professor S. O. Sherstyuk (School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University), full professor G. V. Grischenko (Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University), full professor A. I. Kharchenko and full professor V. G. Khoperia (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv).
At the meeting with representatives of universities-partners a decision was made to intensify cooperation between higher educational institutions in the scientific and educational sectors using the scientific and pedagogical potential available in classical universities.
