Student seminars on the basis of the human anatomy scientific group

It has already become a good tradition to hold student research seminars of the human anatomy scientific group, which works at the Department of Human Anatomy of the School of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The main goals of the work of the scientific group and conducting seminars on its basis are to increase the level of professional training of students based on the development of their analytical and creative abilities, the formation of scientific thought, and the identification of talented and gifted students who are able and willing to engage in research activities. In carrying out of seminars during the preparation of reports both students of the group and teachers of the department take part. Frequency of seminars - 1 time per month. Seminars are usually held in the form of a round table with subsequent discussion.

For the second semester of 2016-2017 academic years 4 seminars were held, devoted to the most topical issues of human anatomy and morphology:

  • On February 15, 2017 - "Evolution of modern anatomical views on mesentery as an independent holistic organ: its structure, functions and its role in the development of diseases"
  • On March 16, 2017 - Improving the skills of making anatomical drugs as museum and educational models used in the study of human body, as well as methods for their preservation
  • On April 13, 2017 - modern view at the structural and functional features of lymphatic vessels in the central nervous system with the latest scientific evidence
    On May 25, 2017 - "Variant anatomy of cerebral vessels"
