The women's team of the School of Medicine successfully performed in a 3 x 3 basketball competitions and won first place under the program of the 67th Students’ Spartakiad of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2016-2017.
The team is composed of students of the School of Medicine Valery Sahno (captain), Аnna Nazarenko, Veronika Shepel, Yara Shahvan under the guidance of coach, the senior instructor of physical education and sport Natalya I. Chucha and team representative, senior instructor in physical education and sport Natalia G. Korchevska demonstrated a high level of training and adorable game level.
Dean of the School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, Full Professor I. V. Belozerov, Associate Dean for Character Building of International Students, Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor K. E. Shamun and Head of the Department of Surgical Diseases, Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy, Candidate of Medicine, Associate Professor O. M. Kudrevich attended the competitions and were rooting for the team of the School of Medicine.
