The student of the School of Medicine is selected into the Standing Committee of Public Health as a new National Coordinator

On December 3-4, 2016 the IV National Assembly of Public Organization "Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association" (UMSA) was held at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. During the event the Standing Committee of Public Health (SCOPH) held a meeting wherein the reports of local representatives were presented, the priority areas of work for the next year have been defined, namely: mental health (mental health), donation, the problem of self-medication. Also according to the taken provisions it is possible for 2 assistants of the National Coordinator to work in the committee.

The new National Coordinator of the National Public Organization (NPO) became the 3rd year student of the School of Medicine Olena B. Delich, head of the Student Scientific Society of the School of Medicine. Her work in UMSA she started as a member of the UMSA - V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and then she became the National Coordinator of the National Public Organization (NPO). She could activate the relations with international divisions of SCOPH. She is actively engaged in the development of SCOPH_UMSA for 2 years.

A lot of work ahead: update the local coordinators, the development of local offices, realization of all ideas and implementation of national projects.

The administration and the scientific and pedagogical staff of the School of Medicine congratulate Helen with nomination and wish every success in her new position and express gratitude to everyone who visited V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University during the Assembly.
