Educators of the School of Medicine - participants of the I International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the Epidermolysis Bullosa

On June 17, 2016 at the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdet" (Kyiv) the I Scientific-Practical Conference with the international participation was held. It was dedicated to epidermolysis bullosa, the 5th anniversary of the International Public Organization "Dermatologists-for children" and the Centre "DEBRA Ukraine» in Ukraine.

The conference focused on issues of international cooperation for the organization of medical and social assistance to the families of patients and also issues of diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation, psychological assistance to patients were considered. Scientists, doctors and public figures from Ukraine, Sweden, Austria, Poland, Croatia, made presentations and took part in discussion.

Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the School of Medicine of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University A. M. Fedota represented genetics of dermatoses and made a presentation on the genetics of epidermolysis bullosa at the conference.
