On March 13, 2026, in the pathological anatomy department of the «V. T. Zaitsev Institute of General and Emergency Surgery of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine» held a regular meeting of the Pathomorphology Student Club with the participation of 3rd and 4th year medical students and teachers of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine.
On March 13, 2026, in the pathological anatomy department of the «V. T. Zaitsev Institute of General and Emergency Surgery of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine» held a regular meeting of the Pathomorphology Student Club with the participation of 3rd and 4th year medical students and teachers of the Department of General and Clinical Pathology of the School of Medicine.
Associate Professor of the Department Remnyova N. O., together with the students, conducted a macroscopic study of the surgical material with a detailed explanation and description of pathological changes, followed by a biopsy procedure. This was followed by a discussion of interesting cases, their morphological analysis, examination of the microscope slides, and the algorithm for forming a pathoanatomical diagnosis.
The teachers, together with the students, identified priority topics for further meetings of the Student Club, discussed the preparation of reports and presentations for participation in the upcoming XXIII International Scientific Conference of Students, Young Scientists and Specialists «Current Issues of Modern Medicine».
